Setting Client Portal Mobile App Biometric Login

The AdvisorEngine Client Portal Mobile app has support for biometric logins (fingerprint, face recognition, etc.) supported by your device. If the device you are using does not support biometrics or you have not set up any biometrics on the device, this feature will not be available.

Enabling Biometric Login

  1. Open your firm-branded Client Portal app.
  2. Click next to the Login button.
  3. Acknowledge the prompt and log in with your email address and password as usual.
  4. You are promted to enable biometric login for future use.

Once acknowledged, future logins will prompt you for your preferred biometric when launching the app, bypassing the need to re-enter your username and password. Note that if you are signed out due to inactivity, the biometric prompt will not repeat unless you close the app and reopen it.
