The Duplicate Records - Persons tool enables you to check your database for Records or Persons with the same name.
- Navigate to the Record Workspace.
- Click Tools > Duplicate Records - Persons. The tool will open and show a list of all Records with identical names.
- Click Show Duplicate Persons to view Person duplicates instead.
The Duplicate Records - Persons tool is purely informational, it will be up to you to determine the necessary steps to correct any duplicates you discover. Some features that may be useful once duplicates have been identified:
Note: This tool will only identify exact matches. Typos, slight spelling changes, or nickname use from one entry to another will not match. For example, Smith, Robert and Smith, Rob would not appear on the list.
