Record Data Import Overview

The Record Data Import (RDI) process provides a way to add Records to AdvisorEngine CRM in bulk and pre-fill many of the critical fields for those Records using data contained in a spreadsheet or other CSV (Comma separated value) file type.

The RDI Tool itself is locally-installed software that processes your existing data into a format that AE CRM understands and can use to correctly create and fill new Records.

The Record Data Import process involves:

(One Time) Downloading and installing the RDI Tool.
Preparing a spreadsheet of data to become CRM Records.
Using the RDI Tool to match your spreadsheet data to AE CRM fields.
Receiving a new CSV file for uploading into AE CRM.
