The Record Data Import Tool is a locally-installed software program that processes your spreadsheet of data into a format that AdvisorEngine CRM is able to import. The following documentation will walk you through downloading and installing the software prior to its use.

Downloading and Installing the RDI Tool

1. Within AE CRM, navigate to Import > Record Data Import.
2. Click Download Record Data Import Tool. The actual download process varies depending on your browser and settings.
3. Find and launch the Junxure-Cloud-Tools file you downloaded. The InstallShield Wizard launches.
Note: If you have trouble getting the installer to launch:

1. Right-click on the installer file.
2. Click Properties from the menu.
3. Click Unblock button.
4. Click Okay.
Try launching the installer again. If the Installer still will not launch, contact your IT.

4. Click Next to begin.
5. Select I accept the terms of the license agreement on the License Agreement window and click Next.
6. Leave the setup type as Complete on the Setup Type window and click Next.
7. On the next window, click Install.
8. When the process has completed, click Finish to close the installer.

You are now ready to use the Record Data Import Tool. A shortcut is placed on your desktop and within the CRM Software folder in your Start menu.
