Creating Cash Deposit or Withdrawal Orders (TAMP)

Creating Cash Deposit or Withdrawal Orders (TAMP)

The Cash Management section of Investment Management can be used to create cash withdrawals or deposits within portfolios. These orders can be one time or on a recurring schedule as needed.

Creating Cash Deposit or Withdrawal Orders

  1. Navigate to Investment Management > Cash Management.
  2. From any subtab in this section, click Create New Deposit/Withdrawal in the upper right.
  3. Use the Select Account box to search for the desired account number and select it from the list of results.
  4. Set the timeframe of the transaction. See below for notes on transaction timing.
    • By default, the transaction will be sent immediately and only once.
    • To set the transaction for a future date, click Future or Recurring Transaction Scheduling and select the desired date.
    • To have the transaction repeat regularly, click Future or Recurring Transaction Scheduling, select the desired start date, and set a Repeat pattern from the drop-down. You will need to set a Schedule Name and if desired, an End Date.
  5. Click Continue.
  6. Select the Direction of the transaction, Deposit or Withdrawal.
  7. Enter the Deposit or Withdrawal Amount.
  8. Set the Method for the transaction:
    • Rebalancer: Looks at target weights and distributes or withdraws funds to match your target. If no target is assigned, the auto rebalance will liquidate all holdings.
    • Pro Rata: Distributes or withdraws proportionally based on the current allocation weights.
    • Equal Weight: Distributes or withdraws across all sleeves equally.
    • Custom: Distributes or withdraws funds for the dollar amounts you specify for each holding.
  9. Click Continue to view the summary preview of the requested transaction and click Create to finish if everything is satisfactory. (If needed, you can Go Back and make corrections instead.)

Transaction Timing

The transaction date for Deposit instructions should be set one business day after the actual ACH deposit date. If the deposit transaction date falls on a weekend or holiday, the deposit transaction will occur on the next business day. (EX: If the deposit transaction date is Saturday the 15th, the deposit transaction will be processed on Monday the 17th).

Trading for withdrawal schedules will begin processing 2 business days prior to the transaction date. If the withdrawal transaction date falls on a weekend or holiday, processing will begin 2 business days prior to the withdrawal transaction date. (EX: If the transaction withdrawal date is Sunday the 15th, processing will begin on Thursday the 12th.)
