Universal Search

The Universal Search bar sits at the top of most pages in the Portfolio Management Suite, allowing you to quickly find and load the profile of a client, household, or account.

Click in the search box to begin searching or view recently accessed profiles.

Searching

To search for a household, client, or account, begin typing in the box.

  • A minimum of 2 characters are required for a search to start.
  • Click on a household or account result card to open to the respective profile. Click the client name on the card to open to the client-level view instead.
  • Only the begining of the Account Number, Household Name, First Name, or Last Name of a client are searched. (For example searching “ber” will find someone with the last name BERman but not the first name alBERt.)
  • Click to add any result to the Saved list for easy access later.
  • If there are more than 20 results returned, click VIEW ALL RESULTS at the bottom to open a grid of all matches.

Recents and Saved

When first clicking in the search box, before entering any search criteria, you can instead choose to open a recent or saved result.

The past 20 search results you have opened display in the Recent tab, ordered by the newest first.

Click the Saved tab to display and select any results you have marked to be saved. You can also remove any saved items from the saved list here.
