Performance Benchmarks: Assigning Benchmarks to Models
Advisors can assign a Performance Benchmark to each Model. These benchmarks then display for all accounts or households using the Model. These are in addition to any specific benchmark already designated for a Household as well as the up to three Total Performance benchmarks already available for global display.
Note: If any of these benchmarks overlap, they will only be displayed once.
- From Grow Practice > Customization > Performance > Models. The tab displays active models and their composition, so advisors can make an informed choice about which existing Benchmark is most suitable for a Model. Select any Benchmark from the pull-down.
- To delete an existing Benchmark Assignment without replacing it, just click on the existing Benchmark and hit backspace.
- If no appropriate Benchmark exists, go to the adjoining Total Performance tab and use “Create New” to build appropriate Benchmarks.
- Benchmarks can also be assigned to Models under Grow Practice > Customization > Models.
- Benchmarks can be assigned to new and existing Models through the existing Model creation and Model editing processes at the bottom left of the creation/edit window.
- Once assigned, Model Benchmarks appear in the Performance history graphic tab and the Performance Details tab of Accounts and Households using the Model. Please note this does not appear at the Client level.
