Viewing or Changing Model Assignments

Model assignments for accounts can be viewed from the Manage Clients > Model Assignments tab. Click to display details about the investments in the assigned model.

Reassigning Models

Use the following process to change which model is assigned to a given account. If you need to apply a custom model that is not predefined in the Portfolio Manager already, see Customizing the Model for an Existing Account instead.

  1. Navigate to Manage Clients > Model Assignments.
  2. Use the Filter by models and Search to locate the account to modify.
  3. Use the Model drop-down to select and set a different model for the account. You will be asked to confirm the change.

Users of the Client Portal will see the change on their next login.

NOTE: Changing the model with this method does not generate a new IPS. You will need to use the Grow Practice > Dashboard to generate a new IPS or complete one offline if needed.
