Viewing or Changing Model Assignments

Model assignments for accounts can be viewed from the Investment Management > Model Assignments tab. Click to display details about the investments in the assigned model.

Note: Firms utilizing the SmARTX integration do not have access to this tab. Change models through the Target Portfolios tab instead.

Reassigning Models

Use the following process to change which model is assigned to a given account. If you need to apply a custom model that is not predefined in the Portfolio Manager already, see Customizing the Model for an Existing Account instead.

  1. Navigate to Investment Management > Model Assignments.
  2. Use the Filter by models and Search to locate the account to modify.
  3. Use the Model drop-down to select and set a different model for the account. You will be asked to confirm the change.

Users of the Client Portal will see the change on their next login.

NOTE: Changing the model with this method does not generate a new IPS. You will need to use the Grow Practice > Dashboard to generate a new IPS or complete one offline if needed.
