The Digital Account Opening feature of the Schwab integration allows you to pass Person information from AdvisorEngine CRM directly into the Schwab Digital Account Opening form with a single click.

Enabling the Feature

Within AE CRM, the Digital Account Opening feature is automatically enabled as part of the Schwab Integration suite. See Enabling the Schwab OpenView Gateway for more information.

To complete the setup process, Schwab must enable the Digital Account Opening feature for the Schwab User linked through the integration setup above. Contact your Schwab support to enable this access if needed.

Using the Digital Account Opening Feature

When enabled, a Schwab Open Account link appears on the bottom of each Person summary card within Record Details.

Clicking the link will launch the Schwab Digital Account Opening form with the following fields pre-populated from the Person’s details.

• Full Name
• Primary Email Address
• Primary Phone Number (must be a Type of Home or Mobile)
• Date of Birth
• Primary Address
• Country of Citizenship
• Employment Info

From this point, continue the account opening process in Schwab as usual.
