Copying a Target Portfolio (TAMP)

NOTE: The following documentation applies to AdvisorEngine TAMP clients only.

If you need to create a Target Portfolio with only minor changes from an existing Target, or you need to move an existing Target Portfolio into a different Enterprise setting, you can use the Copy Target functionality.

Copying a Target Portfolio

To create a copy of an existing Target:

  1. Navigate to Investment Management > Target Portfolios.
  2. Locate the Target to copy in the grid.
  3. Click in the Actions column of the Target row.
  4. Use the Select Target Enterprise drop-down to assign the correct enterprise. This cannot be edited later.
  5. Click Save Target in the bottom right of the screen to create the new Target.
  6. Use the Edit Name control and assign the Target a properly descriptive name.

Click in the upper left to return to the Target grid. Click the refresh control in the upper right to have your new target copy show in the grid.
