Setting Per-Account Advance Billing Adjustment Triggers

Setting Per-Account Advance Billing Adjustment Triggers

When Billing in Advance, the firm can choose to set certain event flags that will trigger billing adjustments after the period has ended. See Advance Fee Billing Adjustments for full details on this feature.

The adjustment settings for each billing group are configured in Billing Settings. However, these triggers can be overridden at the account level if needed.

To adjust these settings for an individual account:

  1. Navigate to Run Business > Billing.
  2. Click Configure Account Billing Settings.
  3. In the left column, search for and select the account you need to edit settings for.
  4. Under Adjustment Settings Overrides, set which events will trigger an adjustment calculation: Account Opening, Account Closing, and/or Money Flows of a Minimum amount or more. The settings are set to the defaults configured in Billing Settings to begin. Use the Reset to Group Settings button to revert to defaults if needed.
  5. Click Save at the bottom of the page to confirm your changes.
