Firms utilizing the Smartleaf integration can create a specific buy or sell for an account. Requests to Buy or Sell Securities allow users to mandate that Smartleaf buy or sell specific amounts of specific securities as a part of its trade recommendations. These requests are also the only way to buy securities that are not included in either the account’s assigned target or supplemental buy list. You can add multiple requests to buy or sell securities to an account for a single analysis.

1. Navigate to Manage Clients > Rebalancing.
2. Search for and open the account to perform a manual buy or sell on.
3. Click the Requests tab.
4. On the far right, click Edit Requests.
5. Expand the Buy or Sell Securities section.
6. Enter the Ticker for the security to buy or sell.
7. Set Action to Buy or Sell as needed.
8. Enter the # Shares to Buy or Sell.
9. Click Add to List.
10. Repeat Steps 6-9 for any additional buys/sells.
11. Click Save and Re-Analyze when finished.
