The Order Status screen allows you to view the status of orders that were queued through the Smartleaf rebalancer. How you use this screen will depend on how your order processing is configured by your onboarding engineer.

If you need to adjust your method of order processing, contact your AE Client Service rep. These methods are detailed below.
Order Status is accessed from Manage Clients > Order Status.
Orders that have been queued in Smartleaf are posted to the Order Status screen on a regular basis according to the configured time intervals set during your onboarding.
To post all queued orders immediately regardless of the pickup schedule, click
.Straight Through Processing via Fix
With Straight Through Processing, orders will be sent to the custodian automatically. You can check the the order status here at any time.
Note that orders for the same asset are blocked together and traded through the designated average price account. These buys are then allocated to the correct accounts when executed.
Order blocks can be expanded to view the status of each order in the block. The following statuses are possible with Straight-Through Processing:
Status | Description |
NEW | New order that has not yet been sent to the custodian trading desk. |
ACCEPTED | Order was sent and accepted by the custodian trading desk. |
REJECTED | Order was sent and rejected by the custodian trading desk. Rejection reason is displayed. |
PENDING APPROVAL | Order was stopped and requires additional review and approval. Reason is displayed. Contact Custodian Trading Desk to resolve. |
EXECUTED | Order was successfully executed by the custodian trading desk. |
CONFIRMED | The order has been reconciled with transaction activity loaded from the daily batch imports in the Portfolio Manager. |
RESOLVED | Manually resolved order status for orders not previously executed or confirmed. |
PARTIAL_EXECUTION | Only part of the order was executed. Expand for more details. |
Manual Order Export
If your firm has Manual Order Export enabled, the order file will need to be manually downloaded when you have orders to send to the trading desk.
Once orders for the day have been picked up from Smartleaf and display on the order status screen:
Order blocks can be expanded to view the status of each order in the block. The following statuses are possible for Manual Order Export configurations:
Status | Description |
NEW | New order that has not yet been exported. |
EXPORTED | Order was included in a CSV that was previously exported. |
CONFIRMED | The order has been reconciled with transaction activity loaded from the daily batch imports in the Portfolio Manager. |
Transmit to Schwab
Transmit to Schwab sends your orders directly to the Trade Blotter in Schwab Advisors Center when selected.
To send all posted orders with a status of NEW, navigate to the Order Status screen and click

Status | Description |
NEW | New order that has not yet been sent. |
SUBMITTED | Order was successfully submitted to SAC and should be visible in the Schwab Trade Blotter. |
CONFIRMED | The order has been reconciled with transaction activity loaded from the daily batch imports in the Portfolio Manager. |
