Advisor-led Standing Instructions/Cash Transfer (Schwab)

The following process allows an Advisor to submit an ACH request on behalf of a client. This can be one-time or recurring, deposit or withdrawal.

ACH Transfer

The ACH Transfer process is begun on the account profile that you wish to transfer funds to.

  1. Navigate to Manage Clients > Dashboard and select the account to transfer into.
  2. In the upper right, click Action > Account Maintenance > Add Standing Instruction and/or Cash Transfer.
  3. If a bank account has already been linked, select it from the drop-down. Otherwise, enter the required ACH information for the transfer/withdrawal.
  4. Enter the Start Date Frequency and Amount of either Incoming or Outgoing funds.
  5. Click Continue, verify the entered information, and click Continue again.
  6. If the client is with you, click Sign Now to sign the paperwork. If the client is not present, click Email to send the signing link to the client. Once the client has signed by either method, the transfer is submitted to Schwab.
